About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Maitland, FL, KOS Coffee stands as a beacon for coffee aficionados and casual visitors alike seeking a genuine, elevated cafe experience. This coffee shop is more than just a place to grab your morning cup—it’s a carefully crafted journey through flavor, atmosphere, and community.

Right from the moment you step inside, KOS Coffee’s Nordic-inspired interior invites you to slow down and savor every detail. The clean, minimalist design with warm, natural accents creates an atmosphere that is both calming and invigorating, making it an ideal spot to linger and enjoy expertly brewed beverages or a thoughtfully prepared bite.

At the heart of KOS Coffee’s appeal is its dedication to quality and creativity. Their espresso bar pours flat whites, cappuccinos, and lattes that showcase the precision and passion of baristas who know their craft inside and out. One customer, Katya, was so enchanted by their Espresso Old Fashioned that she couldn’t stop photographing her drink—a testament to both the visual artistry and exceptional taste. The house specialty drinks, like the dreamy Lavender Caramel Latte and the fresh, floral Matcha Latte often enjoyed with elderflower syrup, reveal an adventurous yet balanced flavor profile that keeps patrons coming back.

But KOS Coffee isn’t just about the caffeine fix. Their food menu offers creative, flavorful dishes that elevate typical cafe fare. The Norwegian waffle, described by Sydney Heller as “unlike anything I’ve had,” pairs delightfully with customizable toppings, offering a sweet and savory treat that feels indulgent yet sophisticated. For something lighter yet equally satisfying, the avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, and full send breakfast sandwich (an enthusiastic favorite of Peter’s) use high-quality ingredients that shine through every bite. As Peter notes, the freshness and quick preparation make each visit reliable and gratifying.

Customer experiences at KOS Coffee highlight an inspiring culture of warmth and expertise. From the friendly welcomes offered by baristas like Gabby and the diligent work of Daniel behind the scenes to Tanner’s attentive knowledge and generosity, every visit feels personal and genuine. Julian Countess sums it up beautifully, pointing out that KOS is “one of the few spots in the area” that truly elevates the coffee experience with intentional craftsmanship and an inviting space that encourages you to stay awhile.

Whether you’re stopping in for a perfectly crafted cortado, savoring one of their unique tea options like Earl Grey or Raspberry Rose Yaupon Holly, or enjoying a light bite with your brew, KOS Coffee delivers consistency with a creative touch. Their commitment to roasting onsite ensures the freshest coffee possible, and the inclusive pricing—tax and tip included—adds an effortless clarity to your experience.

For residents and visitors of Maitland craving a coffee shop that balances artistry, quality, and community spirit, KOS Coffee is a charismatic choice that emboldens the senses and fosters connection. This is a place where every sip and bite feels intentional, every staff member’s smile sincere, and every visit memorable.

I got the full send (breakfast sandwich) and a mocha with oat milk. Delicious food and delicious coffee! Mocha wasn’t overly sweet and everything came out pretty quickly and was super fresh Prices include tax and tip which makes it easier. You get what you pay for and you really see it in the quality ingredients and stellar end product (coffee, food, service, etc). I approve! This is a charming, cozy spot so amount of seating is ok, but avoid peak times if you want to guarantee yourself a few spots for a small group, especially if you need access to an outlet. More importantly the coffee is great and the service is amazing! Plus the ambiance and decor were nice!! Mimi and Daniel were awesome!! Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stop by and you won’t regret it!! I just wish I took better photos of the place bc it’s a cute spot for sure!

Ive had such a great experience here! Daniel who works in the back is always so sweet and works so hard alongside Gabby who always makes me feel so welcome to come in! I also want to acknowledge Tanner, who is a warm human and a joy to experience. He’s knowledgeable and generous with his time. I’m always happy to partner with him and KOS for my coffee needs!

Cute cafe with unique food offerings. I took quite awhile to peruse the pastries in the display case and scan the sweet and savory food menu. Ultimately, I decided on a latte with lavender and honey ($7, most syrup flavors are included in that price), and a Norwegian waffle ($11.25 with optional add-ons for $1 each). Both were very flavorful and tasty, and the Norwegian waffle is unlike anything I’ve had before. The cashier and server were very pleasant, helpful, and patient while I was deciding on what to order, and this cafe uniquely includes tips for their baristas in the prices listed. The one downside is that seating is very limited, so I was lucky to find a table. Otherwise, a very positive experience overall.

I have no words to describe how great was my Espresso old fash. I made hundred photos of this drink. Thank you so much Kos team for your creativity and welcoming atmosphere. Coffee is always great, very professionally roasted and made. Matcha is fresh and floral. I love it with elderflower syrup. I wish your business the best. We definitely need more Kos coffee shops

KOS Coffee is one of the few spots in the area I visit that truly elevates the coffee experience. You can tell how intentional they are about their craft as soon as you walk in… from the clean, Nordic-inspired setup to the friendly, knowledgeable baristas. The coffee itself is excellent, and the atmosphere makes it easy to stay awhile. They roast on-site too, it’s the real deal

Went in for the first time with my friends a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the coffee, pastries, and staff! I got an iced vanilla latte and a seasonal cinnamon roll. Never had anything like the cinnamon roll, it was the best. Employee helping us was extremely patient and helpful!

I recently visited KOS Coffee in Maitland, and it was an absolute delight! This café is a true gem for coffee lovers in Orlando. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, cozy, modern, and infused with that perfect touch of “Koselig” (Norwegian coziness) that makes you want to linger. The coffee is outstanding! KOS uses high-quality, transparently sourced beans from places like Colombia and Ethiopia, roasted in-house at their micro-roastery. The menu offers a great variety, from classic espresso drinks to unique seasonal specials. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, happy to chat about the coffee’s origins or recommend the perfect brew. I also love their commitment to sustainability and community, which really shines through in the vibe and quality. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a work session, KOS is the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!
